Learn About Our Custom Lapel Pins
Lapel pins can be made in any of our pin styles. We offer the popular “soft enamel” style, which is solid metal with recessed areas to hold vibrant enamel ink. Nearly 90% of all custom pins use this style.
Hard enamel is similar to soft enamel, but with a smooth surface.
Printed pins allow for detailed, mixed colors instead of solid colors.
And there are also die struck pins, which really highlight the metal’s appearance.
But don’t worry about these technical details. During the design process our artists will help you decide which style and pin metal would be best for your pin design, which in most cases is soft enamel.
No pre-made template shapes here! Our custom lapel pins are cut to fit the shape and design of your pin.
Many pin styles allow for the following accessories to be added, if desired:

All pins come in an individual, clear poly bag to protect them but this can be upgraded to any of the following:
• Acrylic Box (+ $0.25/pin)
• Backer Cards (+ $0.10/pin), (can be printed with your custom art)
• Black Jewelry Box (+ $2.25/pin)
• Black Velvet Bag (+ $0.55/pin), (drawstring pouch)
When describing your pin design, just mention any packaging upgrades that you’d like.

Please limit one pin design per order.
For instance, if you have 20 different pin designs you will need to order each one separately. Shipping is always free so you don’t have to “bundle” multiple designs in a single order to try to save on shipping.
Sure. When submitting your order, simply upload your image file and explain how you would like us to use it. We accept vector (AI, EPS, PDF) and all common picture formats like JPG, PNG, WEBP, and etc. You may also upload images of concepts or sketches of your idea and then we can convert it into a full-color graphic.
Rush order pins can be manufactured and shipped as fast as 1 business day. They will be delivered by FedEx to arrive on the date you enter at checkout.
There are many different types:
Soft Enamel: The soft enamel style is where the colors are separated by a metal line. Most custom pins are Standard Soft Enamel pins. These metal pins have the design impressed into the metal. The recessed areas are then filled with enamel color. They’re vibrant and affordable.
Hard Enamel: These are metal with enamel color. But unlike standard soft enamel pins, Standard Hard Enamel pins have a flat, polished finish.
Die Struck: Made by impressing (striking) the pin design into solid metal, Standard Die Struck pins usually have minimal or no color overlaid, so the metal color is the focus.
Offset Printed: Your design is printed onto a smooth, metal surface. Offset Printing allows for gradients or more intricate color than enamel pins.

We have one of the lowest minimum quantities in the industry, with only a minimum of 25 per order!
When describing your design, mention any accessories or packaging upgrades that you’d like. You may also add this when requesting a revision to your pin design.
